OCMW Middelkerke

OCMW Middelkerke realised a new project of 60 assisted living flats in the Sluisvaartstraat. They opted for a sustainable energy solution in this project and supply electricity, water and heating for each flat from a communal heat source.Through our partner Ecompany, who supplies the meter hardware in the flat block, OCMW Middelkerke got in touch with Zero Friction. It’s our job to realize the cost distribution for the Welzijnshuis Middelkerke based on the incoming energy invoices and to invoice the actual individual energy consumption to the residents on a monthly basis.

Dirk Gilliaert, chairman of OCMW Middelkerke: "Organising the cost allocation and monthly settlement of the collective systems ourselves would be too cumbersome and time-consuming. So it was only natural to call in a third party with expertise in the field."
